Dance Matters NYC is looking for an experienced and motivated Office and Customer Service Coordinator!
DMNYC is a dynamic and growing Dance Studio in Sunnyside Queens looking for a part time office manager/ customer service coordinator. This position is ideal for a vibrant administrator who has over three years experience in office management and client services.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of our community through the beauty and transformative power of dance. In this position, you will be the face of the studio to all new and incoming customers as well as the main point of connection between our current customers and the studio and director.

- Have 3+yrs of demonstrated ability to manage effectively high quality customer service and professional administrative work.
- Are open to change and work well under pressure.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that ensures sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude and impeccable time-management skills
- Are able to quickly and easily grasp all new technology needed to stay up to date.

Duties Include but are not limited to
- Managing and administrating all office needs
- Budget tracking
- Student Accounts
- Keeping efficient communication lines with current and new customers.
- Managing all new incoming registrations in a timely manner.
- Record keeping for existing customers.
- Accounting
- Administration and management of large Dance Performances twice a year (over 800 attendees)
- Liaison between school and all vendors
- Office organization and maintenance
- Greet and establish rapport with new customers, proactively engaging them in conversations about our school, services and promotions to determine their needs and recommend the right classes.
- Maintain incredible relationships with our current customers. Drive customer loyalty through warm, inviting and efficient communications with all customers.
- Ensure all customer accounts are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Share knowledge and enthusiasm about all our services providing a personalized experience to multiple customers at the same time.
- Respond to customer’s concerns and questions promptly, and secure the enrollment.
- Help maintain the studio in excellent shape. Keeping materials organized, straightening the lobby area, and performing other in studio housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate specific needs to the director to ensure the studio is working appropriately.
- Assist in any area of the studio as needed.
- Help orient new customers and teachers, ensuring a smooth acclimation to the studio and our studio culture.

Minimum Requirements:
- College degree or its equivalent
- Must be incredibly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and a team player
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and English speaking and writing fluency
- Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- A personal computer
