Mary's Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc. is seeking an individual with quality assurance knowledge, preferably quality assurance experiences in food industry. This is an entry level position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of processing lines to assure that production lines are in compliance with GMP and HACCP regulations
- Select products for test at specified stages in production process, and test product for variety of qualities, such as physical characteristics
- Record test data by applying quality control procedures
- Provide guidance, training and assistance to Production personnel
- Works closely with the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure that the plant is in appropriate sanitary condition
- Perform periodic audits of the plant to ensure that the company is complying with all food safety issues
- Verify ingredient labels of allergen-containing raw ingredients upon receiving
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime, at least one weekend day and holidays
- Attention to detail
-Able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly and able to performs tasks in a refrigerated environment between 34 - 38 degrees
- Effectively work as a team member and independently as needed
- Positive, can-do attitude, team player with a strong work ethic
- Preference is given to applicants who have at least 1 year of experience in the food industry and have knowledge of HACCP and GMP regulations.
