JOB DESCRIPTION
Established group private practice providing mental health counseling to a variety of clientele, looking for mental health professionals to join our Virtual and North Texas Offices, this is a full time salary position.
Let's Be Honest.
We want counselors that do what they say they're going to do. Who step up and do what's right even when no one else is looking. Who take pride in being a helping professional and feel that is where they belong. Who is not out there looking for the next best thing. We want professional counselors that are real and want to work for a company that cares.
Let's be real.
We are a mental health group practice offering an opportunity to match the best parts of private practice and an agency, while leaving behind the not so good parts. What do we mean?
At New Horizon, we allow the autonomy to do therapy the way that suits your therapeutic style and treatment planning, which will ideally attract the clients you want to see. We believe being authentic to yourself and playing to your strengths provides the best outcomes all around, and therefore, don’t restrict you to doing therapy a certain way or in a limited and rigid number of sessions.
- We want our therapist happy!
We are mindful of burnout and want to match our therapist with the client that meets their niche and provide rewarding therapeutic alliances. We are looking for therapist to commit to long-term working relationships and not run you off with a caseload of the difficult and so-called “problem” clients.
Our goal is to take the back-office items off your plate, with scheduling, credentialing, and billing handled by the office, so your time is spent doing what we became therapist for, Therapy!
- We are here to support you!
We support your therapeutic expertise and offer collaboration for when you may be feeling stuck or need to decompress.
We encourage you to grow clinically and become more than just a "sit and chat" therapist. We can fill any therapist's caseload that knows how to retain a client. We do things for our therapists that we don't have to do, but we want to, because we care.
We have high expectations. We expect our therapists to know how to provide evidenced-based services in such a way that our clients can heal. If our therapists do not feel confident, we are okay with that, but we do expect them to tell us so we can offer help.
Let us know your interests and we will brainstorm how to make these things happen, do you want to provide groups or get involved with the community or learn a new skill set? We are here to explore growth opportunities to promote optimum mental and emotional health.
- We are flexible and fair!
We offer both in-person and telehealth hours, and offer Monday-Saturday hours, as well as time slots from 9am-9pm to fit your availability.
For in office visits, we will provide you with the open times available and allow you to set your schedule.
We do ask that your schedule is consistent for clients but, understand when things may need to adjust temporarily, such as time off or personal circumstances within reason.
We know this is a lot, but we believe it is crucial that you know enough about us before you make the decision to apply. Please understand, we are not looking for people who are job hoppers. We're not interested in those seeking a 50 cent on the hour raise. We are looking for professional counselors who genuinely want to feel part of a team, like they're a part of something bigger than themselves.
