The host/cashier position is responsible for greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner at the door, seat and present customers with menus in a quick professional manner, generating sales, maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant, operating Point of Sale system, and comply with all company policies.
Great & seat guests, present menus to guests, communicate to server
Interact with guests as they leave to ensure a positive dine in experience
Process cash, credit card, or gift card payments
Strive to exceed our guests expectations
Properly maintain a wait list during high volume times
Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
Answer phones and questions concerning the restaurant and the menu
Maintain personal hygiene
Complete host side work
Other duties as directed
