Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul offers senior living with services to 127 customers, a 37-bed transitional care and rehabilitation center, 24 memory care apartments and 10 care suites.
Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge is recruiting for an RN Nurse Manager in their Transitional Care Unit area. The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of patient plan of care throughout their TCU stay as well as supervising, directing and evaluating performance of licensed and direct care staff.
Schedule: Full-time. M-F. Weekend on-call rotation.
Minimum qualifications:
- Current MN unrestricted RN license and BLS-certified
- Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Leadership skills in managing licensed and direct care staff
- Two years of experience (preferred but not required) working in an acute, sub-acute or geriatric nursing environment
- LTC regulatory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of state rules, regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other disciplines
- Ability to lead the team in Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
