CCS Presentation Systems of New England is seeking out a motivated Audio-Visual Lead Technician to join our growing team. The Lead Installation Technician will perform project based installation tasks including cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, onsite rack fabrication and wiring. CCS Lead Technicians are required to lead and direct installation crews and/or subcontractors and provide progress reports to Project Manager/team to deliver quality workmanship on projects.
Responsibilities
- Pulling and termination of AV and IT cabling
- Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex A/V systems
- Installation including but not limited to: displays, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, networking equipment, audio/video interfaces, audio & video conferencing equipment, video walls, interactive touch-screen solutions, and rack equipment.
- Configuration AMX, Crestron, and Extron switching and control solutions
- Simplified configuration of video conferencing endpoint solutions from Poly, Cisco, Teams, and Zoom
- Working remotely with Field Engineers & Programmers
- Act as a client liaison for CCS during installation and provide training of installed systems
- Leading, mentoring, and providing direction to other technicians on job sites
- Driving to client sites to perform installations daily with use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Manage service van, personal & CCS owned tools, and van inventory
- Work with warehouse team on any product returns and RMAs
- Complete closeout documentation, drawing redlines, and client acceptance forms
- Assist with Service Call overflow as needed
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of AV or Electrical installation experience is preferred
- AXIVA CTS certification and/or a technical degree or certification is preferred, CTS-I is a bonus
- TSC or TST RI Low Voltage Licensee preferred
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, PC computing knowledge, and modern devices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Considerations:
- This position requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, reach, grasp, lift, carry, push, pull and move equipment/boxes weighing up to 75lbs independently.
- Manual dexterity and working at heights, are also required.
- Work will typically be performed indoors at client sites and occasionally at construction sites.
- Standard work hours are typically 7am-3:30pm though hours may vary based on client or project requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets CCS Driving Privileges standards
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and MA State CORI on an ongoing basis and obtain formal security clearances.
- Ability to drive to locations in greater New England service area.

Pay: $27.00 - $39.00 per hour
