Position Summary:
The Design Intern works collaboratively under the supervision of the Senior Multimedia Manager to produce collateral for external and internal campaigns.
Essential Functions:
Help to execute all marketing materials and requested assets for campaigns and events including, but not limited to, fundraising events, membership campaigns, retail promotions, the Girl Scout Product Program, and girl/volunteer events and programs;
Assist with creating social media content and scheduling posts throughout the month
Support a cross-channel social media plan to include targeted and re-targeted advertising campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram;
Assist in the development of mass email communications for the memberships
Assist with managing council website platforms
Assist with managing council mobile ATGS App
Work on Citrus Peel Magazine
Help to maintain and update video archive for council use;
Collaborate with other teams to create key content for projects;
Adhere to production timelines in collaboration with teams throughout the organization in order to accommodate for project deadlines;
Uphold and enhance the Girl Scout brand, including voice and visuals, in all produced materials;
Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Education:
Portfolio of video production/graphic design work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro.
Proficient in content management and brand writing.
Valid driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle and proof of current vehicle insurance.
Skills and/or Relevant Experience
Skills in videography and social media
Skills in marketing principles and strategy.
Skills in proofreading, grammar and business writing.
Ability to travel for events or meetings.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some weekends.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
