Summary:
Back of the House Team performs essential duties in many different areas within the kitchen. You must be comfortable preparing food items including our famous Biscuit, chicken and Tea. As well as maintain a clean kitchen and store.
Previous experience with a Bojangles' or other fast-food restaurant is preferred, but not mandatory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Set up workstation.
- Coordinate the wrap station.
- Follow recipe for preparing our Famous chicken.
- Roll of Famous Biscuits
- Operate grill station.
- Ensure quality products are prepared by Bojangles set standards.
- Take out trash.
- Clean the parking lot and the outside of the building.
- Maintaining clean, equipment, clean kitchen, and a safe work environment
- Adhere to all required safety and sanitary protocols.
- Operate with a sense of urgency.
- Must be willing to train for all BOH positions.
Qualifications Guidelines:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able physically able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: lift boxes and other packages; stand on hard surfaces, occasionally in warm temperatures for extended periods of time; lift and manipulate slightly heaving objects
Education/Experience:
- High School no necessary.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service kitchen is preferred, but not required
Language Ability:
Good ability to comprehend instruction in English or Spanish is necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Possibility of a Kitchen Leader position
Physical Demands:
This position will require long periods of standing on hard surfaces, occasionally in warm temperatures. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. Lifting and moving slightly heavy boxes and other items.
