As a Product Owner within the Global Back of Stores team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value to our store associates, empowering them to perform their roles more efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the product vision for store solutions. This involves partnering closely with business customers to understand their priorities and engaging directly with end users when appropriate. By exploring diverse options, you will define clear and concise requirements, as well as acceptance criteria to guide effective solutions.
What you will do:
- Defining team product backlog of user stories, including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creating acceptance criteria. Providing detailed guidance to the development team for successful product delivery
- Partnering with the Product Manager to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, and priorities to translate into features and user stories.
- Driving iteration (sprint) goals and content via prioritized user stories
- Providing product/domain knowledge that guides, informs, and offers insight into product enhancements, maintenance, and efficiencies.
- Providing product decisions including functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs); accepts user stories and iteration increments.
- Contributing to the vision, roadmap, and ROI
- Being the voice-of-the-customer for the team by engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate their insights into product decisions.
- Ensuring risks and dependencies are identified and managed.
- Manage and drive design and execution of effective and efficient solutions.
- Support business change management activities to ensure proper adoption of new products and their impact on the Client.
- Contribute to roadmap, planning and prioritization of new capabilities, features, and outcomes.
- Manage and maintain JIRA boards to ensure features and stories meet the established standards.
- Identify and define KPI’s that demonstrate measurable improvements/cost savings in relevant areas.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
What you will need (required):
- Strong and relevant experience in an agile/SAFe delivery framework
- Proven success working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Ability to drive process by working through the gray.
- Ability to navigate team environments utilizing firsthand expertise
- Outstanding communication skills
- JIRA/Confluence experience
- Experience communicating to all levels of leadership.
Bonus Experience:
- Delivering and integrating SaaS/ New Technology solutions to production.
