At Reuben Clarson Consulting, we are coastal marine, civil and structural engineering/construction consultants with more than 50 years of marine industry experience in design of heavy marine structures and waterfront development projects. We have worked on projects all over Florida, and in the Bahamas, as subconsultants on marine structures. Our clients include private residents, condominiums, realtors, developers, commercial and residential contractors, heavy marine contractors, public utilities, and agencies, as well as engineering firms (as a marine subconsultant), yacht clubs, port facilities, and law firms.

Seeking a highly motivated and talented Civil, Structural or Coastal Engineer with a strong background and interest in coastal marine and civil site development, client focused who produces great solutions. This individual will participate with a team in all aspects from project conceptual and final designs providing support during construction.
The job responsibilities for the position will include:
-Serving as civil engineer on a variety of project types from residential to commercial/municipal including large to small size.
-Ability to communicate to clients and present technical solutions.
-Lead and coordinate scope, schedule and budget with other team members.
-Using AutoCAD for site/civil land designs including grading, 3D surface layouts, utility systems, stormwater and sanitary analysis (SSA), and dredging project.
-Mentoring and providing guidance to support staff.
-Development of technical proposals.
-Reviewing permitting agency/engineering standards and regulations necessary to develop civil designs and permitting applications.
-Participating in site field investigations and construction related activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-BA/BS in Engineering
-Experience working on site/civil design projects preferrable.
-Experience preparing calculations, design documents, reports, plans and specifications
-Experience using AutoCAD
-Valid US Driver’s License required, must pass motor vehicle records review
-Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Able to register for the Principles & Practice (PE) Exam within 1 year
