Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry Level Account Manager to join our team. The Secondary Insurance Account Manager works collaboratively with agents and brokers to manage and service an assigned set of clients, specific to their secondary medical and prescription coverage. The AM assesses clients’ needs, maintains client relationships, and supports client retention. This role serves as the day-to-day contact and provides resolution for client questions and issues. This position offers a great opportunity for growth in the field of account management.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Communicates with clients to ensure that all their needs are understood.
- Answer inbound calls and emails to client services. Conduct warm calls to new and renewing clients.
- Processes incoming requests and responds promptly and appropriately.
- Submits and follows claims and coverage issues to resolution. Assists clients in submitting/researching claims and obtaining claims status if an immediate need should arise.
-Fulfills requests for ID cards, enrollment changes, demographic changes, certificate requests, etc.
-Coordinates and/or verifies client or carrier contact changes, agent of record changes and system access within internal systems and carrier websites.
- Oversees renewal and open enrollment processes for secondary coverage.
Qualifications & Competencies:

Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. Ability to multi-task, working on several projects at one time, while retaining the same level of quality and performance with each task. Continues to learn and utilize programs and processes set forth by the company. Programs may include Equipoint System, Carrier sites, & Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Edge, Word, Excel).
- Prior experience in customer service is required.
