Allied Therapy Partners is a small, therapist owned and operated, pediatric home health agency that provides physical therapy services to children primarily ages birth-3 in the home and community settings throughout the greater Chicagoland area. We are hiring for a PRN, as needed 1099 contract position to work in a pediatric Early Intervention setting in the CFC 11 territory which is primarily the North and Northwest sides of the City of Chicago.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and caring. They will work closely with young children with varying diagnoses to help them meet their goals. This person must be a strong communicator. They should be able to manage their time effectively with a sense of accountability. This person should be able to work independently in a role that involves very little direct supervision. This role requires daily car travel and the treating therapist will be required to drive between appointments.
The list of responsibilities include:
● Evaluating patients using clinical judgement and standardized testing
● Interpreting standardized testing results
● Determining appropriate physical therapy diagnoses
● Developing and carrying out a physical therapy plan of care using physical therapy interventions
● Goal writing
● Developing and instructing families and caregivers on home exercise programs
● Communicating with families, therapists, children, caregivers, and other medical and non-medical professionals regarding a child’s case
● Conducting physical therapy sessions face-to-face or using video in home and community settings
● Completing daily SOAP notes, evaluations, discharge documents, and progress notes in a timely manner
● Referring out to appropriate medical professionals as needed
● Maintaining their own schedule
Job requirements:
● Minimum 6 month pediatric experience required
● Valid Illinois physical therapy license required
● Must be a US citizen or have permission to work in the United States
● Must have a reliable source of transportation and a valid Illinois drivers license if driving
● Candidates must provide valid and up to date proof of vaccination for COVID-19, TDAP, Influenza
● Candidates must provide a valid and up to date negative TB test
● CPR certification required
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 24 per week
