A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to Maintain Facility and Facility Service equipment, Paint, landscape, Setup furniture, Simple plumbing, snow removal and etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains Facility in good condition, paint the facility exterior and interior wall as needed
- Paints inside outside rails, doors, gas pipes, furniture, and equipment as needed
- Power washes windows, floor and working area as needed
- Buffering and waxing VCT tiles, concrete floor and shampoo carpet as needed
- Operates snow blower, shovel snow around the facility, salt the sidewalks, Operate pallet jack, scissor lift, simple facility equipment and etc.
- Drives lawn mower to cut the grass, fertilize the lawn
- Winterize and repair the sprinkler system
- Install, set up and move office furniture
- Troubleshoots the basic problems of Facility service equipment, Maintains the equipment in good condition such as buffer machine, scrubber, vacuum, carpet machine and etc.
- Light plumbing work, repair and replace faucets, fixtures in restroom, cafeteria, change water filters , open blocked toilet and drainages and etc.
- Checks roof leakage and clean the roof drainage
- Accompany outside visitors for routine facility service/ inspection
- Oversees contractors working on site
- Completes the maintenance work orders per company SOPs
- Other facility related maintenance as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent.
