Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our law firm in the medical records department. This is a temporary hourly position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit orders for medical records, CXR’s, and social security records
- Review, extract, and make copies of CXR images
- Work on rejections and getting proper paperwork required
- Scan and upload documents to client folders
- Follow-up with clients regarding missing documents
- Take incoming calls from clients and provide case updates
- Communicate with clients, experts, colleagues, and record services via phone and email and accurately enter details from communications into firm software
- Maintain phone and email etiquette
- Input updates into client profile in firm software
- Distribute invoices to accounting department
- Complete other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong computer and typing skills
- Ability to adapt to new software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
