Property management firm seeking a Community Manager to oversee a Binghamton area residential portfolio consisting of two garden style apartment complexes. The Property Manager will need to utilize strong project management skills, people skills and analytical skills to support the regional manager and reach company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Administration of all Leases and Lease Renewals
- Coordinate Completion of Maintenance Requests
- Issue Appropriate Tenant Notices
- Collection of Rent
- Tenant Relations
- Property Inspections
- Oversee maintenance staff, third party vendors, and contractors
- Advertise and Lease Vacant Units
- Update occupancy reports daily
- Maintain information in property management software
- Assist in overseeing and managing major capital improvement projects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- A critical thinker and quick learner, who approaches problems in a structured fashion and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Good judgment, prioritization, organizational, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of residential property management processes and technology, desired
- Experience using property management software, desired
Education, Certifications, and Experience:
- College degree preferred
- Experience working in the service field
- Residential property management experience
Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have good presentation skills
- Naturally inquisitive: intellectually curious and unafraid to ask questions
- Team player with strong work ethic, pro-active orientation, who can anticipate needs, is assertive, and highly accountable, with a positive attitude.
This position is full time in person/on-site. There is not an option for remote work or work from home.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
