Job Overview – F&B Manager
We are seeking motivated, experienced, and personable Food & Beverage manager to assist in 3-meal restaurant, breakfast buffet, lobby lounge, pool lounge, café & marketplace, in room dining and catering. The F & B Manager will take the lead in service set up and beverage offerings, while also training, implementing and executing of each outlet successfully. Further, creating healthy relationships with vendors to provide high-quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients is required. The ability to multitask, change activities on the fly and work under varying levels of Guest/Patron demands are essential skills for this position.
Specific Job Responsibilities – The F&B Manager will oversee food and beverage services in the outlets of the hotel. They will also assist in the hiring and training of new FOH staff. Further duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategizing with top management about dining options and programs

Forecasting demand to appropriately schedule food service employees and to order inventory

Arranging departmental meetings to communicate key information

Managing costs to increase the profitability of the food and beverage outlets of the hotel

Handling employee payroll and scheduling

Create restaurant and in-room dining standard operating procedures

Develop marketing strategies to improve sales and profitability

Organize special events and entertainments to attract more guests

Manage, track, and control budget and quality, including addressing customer concerns

Taking charge of F&B Outlets opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Food & Beverage Director
Working Environment – As an F&B Manager standing and walking for extended periods of time will be required. You will also have to be comfortable working in a confined work area with multiple Associates. The cleaning, maintaining and stocking of the kitchen and food & beverage outlets will also require crouching, reaching and light lifting throughout the shift.
Candidate Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar setting of multiple outlets preferred.
