We are currently looking for a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The Patient Care Coordinator maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement. The Patient Care Coordinator participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills. The PCC demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.

- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm (Evening Shift)
- Hourly Rate: $60.00 - $70.00 (Depending on Experience & Education)
*** MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AN OPERATING ROOM, CIRCULATING & SCRUBBING!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care activities in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Provide critical care support to patients in need
- Utilize medical-surgical knowledge to assist in patient care procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and physiology to enhance patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional infectious disease care
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center environment to provide efficient and effective patient care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in patient care coordination or related roles
- Proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Strong understanding of infectious disease care practices
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
