Prepare patient for exam and treatment. Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history.

Assist with pre-employment drug screenings and physical examinations.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic health records.

Accurately document phone conversations, prescription refills given, samples provided, and appointments for tests and referrals.

Write up or electronically enter tests, procedures, referrals, surgeries and work up slips.
Skills:
-
Previous medical assistant or closely related experience preferred
-
Phlebotomy certification required or ability to obtain within six months

BAT and DOT certifications preferred

Audiology certification a plus
-
Ability to work as part of a team as well as a high performing individual contributor

Working knowledge of medical terminology

Strong computer skills
-
Excellent communication, customer service, organization and problem-solving skills required

Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
