Job Description Summary
The Telehealth Outreach Education Coordinator reports to the Telehealth Manager of Clinical Services. Under indirect supervision and in partnership with the Telehealth Clinical Coordinators, the Telehealth Outreach Education Coordinator collaborates and supports the Telehealth Clinical Coordinators, clinical services manager, and interprofessional team to implement, document, and modify evidence-based, quality, and educational telehealth programs, state-wide initiatives and activities that promote telehealth professional competencies and role performances for clinical staff. This position collaborates with administrative, technical, and clinical employees at outlying clinics and hospitals to standardize the use of telehealth training resources across multiple specialties and facilities and provide hands on training to external staff. This role involves travel within the state of SC.

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years of applied clinical experience as a Registered Nurse required. Considerable knowledge of Telehealth program planning, development, and project management preferred.
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and software applications commonly used in program management required. Critical thinking skills essential.
- An ability to establish comparative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff, and other health care. Must be able to work independently and reliably within parameters designated by the Director, Clinical Excellence Education. Must have the ability to work under pressure and reliably meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate with multiple healthcare professionals in a professional manner.

Licensure as a registered nurse by the state of South Carolina or compact state required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
