planning. We are growing and seek an associate financial advisor to join our collaborative team.
Position Summary
The Associate Advisor has a comprehensive role at Skyline Advisors. They support the back office
high touch service and operations. They support the Lead Advisors in providing advice, planning,
and personalized service throughout our client life-cycle. They generate new leads that convert to
clients. We seek a person who is team oriented, enjoys working with people, has technical skills,
and is motivated to grow in their knowledge, responsibility, and role at Skyline Advisors. This
involves participating in the process to capture and onboard prospective clients, learning the
behind-the-scenes operations that makes our business function, providing high- level personal
client service that our clients enjoy, and supporting the lead advisors with advice and planning
targeted to our clients’ goals. We expect the associate advisor to learn and achieve licenses and
credentials that further their knowledge and capabilities, and to progress into a lead advisor
position with our mentoring and guidance.

Role
The associate advisor will be cross-trained to provide operational and service support
-Train with our staff to learn how to provide high-level service to our clients
-Learn to be proficient with our back-office technology and systems that operate our business
-Diligent execution of client service requests
-Interact with vendors to get information, answers, and directions
-Answering phone calls and being available during peak hours
-Learn to diligently execute, monitor, and follow-up client money requests
-Prepare documents for clients, schedule appointments, and help manage day to day business
operations
The associate advisor will be trained to provide investment advice and financial planning
-Attracts new qualified prospective clients through networking in the community and marketing
efforts
-Prepare lead advisors for upcoming meetings by preparing reports, agendas, and needed client
updates
-Training to work with clients to assess their financial situation, identify their financial goals,
and develop a customized financial plan
-Monitor and review clients' financial plans regularly, making adjustments as necessary to ensure
they stay on track to achieve their goals
-Learn retirement and tax planning, legacy/charitable planning, risk management, and estate
planning
-Gain knowledge of investment principles, types of investments, portfolios, statistics, theories,
and implementation thereof
-Learn financial behaviors and how to anticipate client questions and provide thoughtful advice to
prevent bad decisions
-Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the financial industry and incorporate
them into your advice and recommendations
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients that build trust
-Collaborate with other financial professionals, such as accountants and attorneys, to provide
financial solutions for clients
-Learn and grow within our community, our profession, our team, and cultivate a passion to learn
how to better serve our clients
-Understand investment trading functions and learn to execute trades
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university, or 2 years of related experience
-Degree in Business -Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred
-Series 65 license required within first 6 months of employment
-Certified Financial Planner designation or willingness to obtain CFP®

Base compensation is $60,000 - $85,000 DOE
