Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, while leading and developing our kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Operations:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Inventory and Cost Management:
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
- Monitor food costs and implement measures to minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Menu Development:
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop and update menu items.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served.
- Introduce new recipes and cooking techniques to enhance the dining experience.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
