Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is seeking a Technology Adoption and Training Specialist for a contract hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ. This position involves preparing and conducting technical training programs to support the Training initiatives under the direction of the Technology Solutions Manager. This is a contract position that will run minimum until the end of 2024. You can come onboard as our W2 employee. Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite mainly at Jersey City, NJ, with possible training sessions at other facilities in the NY/NJ area)
Position Overview:
The Technology Adoption and Training Specialist is responsible for designing, preparing, and delivering various training programs. The specialist will develop and conduct interactive and inclusive training sessions tailored to diverse learning needs, from beginners to advanced technology users. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing relevant content, evaluating training effectiveness, and continuously refreshing curriculum based on the latest technology trends, particularly within Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Versatile Training Development: Design and deliver training programs covering foundational technology skills and advanced digital tools.
- Engaging Instructional Delivery: Conduct interactive and inclusive training sessions tailored to various learning needs.
- Continuous Curriculum Refresh: Stay updated on the latest technology trends and integrate new tools and features into training programs.
- Needs Assessment and Customization: Collaborate with the TEC Training team to identify training needs, develop content, and promote training programs.
- Impact Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, adjusting content and teaching methods to maximize learning outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technology Proficiency: Strong command of basic computer operations, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced digital transformation tools like PowerApps, MS Copilot, and PowerBI.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in facilitating technology adoption and teaching diverse skill levels.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to convey complex technology concepts in accessible terms to a broad audience.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Experience in creating comprehensive training materials for foundational skills and advanced technology adoption.
- Adaptability and Lifelong Learning: Commitment to personal growth and staying ahead of technology trends.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively.
