Vice-President - National Event Sales - Fun-Fueled Leadership Opportunity at Punch Bowl Social

As the Vice President of National Event Sales, you'll be at the forefront of shaping unforgettable experiences for our guests, from corporate events to birthday bashes and everything in between. Your role is not just about sales—it's about crafting moments that people will remember for a lifetime. In this position, you’ll provide strategy, leadership, innovative tactics, and accountability to the success of the Event Sales division. You will be a senior leadership member and work closely with the CEO and CMO to support all of our multi-unit brands (Punch Bowl Social, Voicebox Karaoke, Sweet Tooth Hotel).
The VP – National Event Sales role will assist the teams with the following:

Drive Success: Partner closely with the Director of National Event Sales and location event sales teams to implement strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets. Your innovative thinking and strategic insights will propel our business forward.

Lead with Energy: Inspire and motivate our event sales teams nationwide to exceed goals & outbound sales efforts.

Champion Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among event sales teams across all locations. You'll serve as a mentor, coach, and cheerleader, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported.

Brand Advocate: Uplift brand standards and culture for in-restaurant team members in partnership with the Marketing and Programming team.

Analyze and Track: Create and implement required reports on the productivity of sales by establishing revenue benchmarks, enhancing client database, increasing check averages, managing contribution margin and exceeding goals in all categories

Oversee and coordinate service vendors to fulfill client proposal and event needs.

Ensure accuracy and delivery of all required reports (BEO’s, leads, event calendars, forecasting, sales revenue reports, etc) are distributed in a timely manner for proper planning and event execution (BEO content, communication, staff delivery, vessels, close outs etc).

Understand all operational department responsibilities, capabilities, and limitations to smoothly ensure maximum guest satisfaction and operational communication.

Maintain open communication and handle conflict resolution with staff and clients.

Maintain direct relationship/partnership with both National Team & Local Teams.

Travel to venues to support the development of event sales teams

Work in tandem with new restaurant opening (NRO) ESMs to fulfill NRO and training needs/tasks within deadlines.
What we are looking for:

Excellent leadership skills and to able to inspire the team while holding them accountable

Working knowledge of Tripleseat (Events software system) at an above average level

Working knowledge of Salesforce or an equivalent sales and email marketing tool

Working knowledge of sales compensation strategies/programs

Working knowledge markets PBS is present, restaurant and venue operations, software (Windows environment, spreadsheet, databases, word processing), guest relations and other systems

Skill in Interpersonal communications, organization, financial knowledge, and team building

Ability to delegate, follow up, relate to staff and guests / clients in a positive effective manner

Minimum of five plus years sales experience in the hospitality industry

Minimum of 2 years as a director level or above in a sales related team environment.
