In partnership with our chemical manufacturing client, we are seeking a Customer Assistance Representative to be based in Deer Park, TX. This person in this will manage the complaints and requests that come in via the CRM software. From there, the Customer Assistance Representative will document the complaint and reach out to various parties to document what happened and facilitate a resolution. This role is a one-year contract opportunity.
You will:
- Enter customer complaints, concerns and issues into SAP’s CRM Complaint System in a timely manner in accordance with defined best practices
- Manage customer complaints from acceptance to closure by working closely with the commercial, technical, manufacturing and supply chain teams
- Document, investigate, and document corrective action and resolution for customer complaints such as damage, quantity discrepancies, and any other issues that may occur after a product shipment
- Meeting internal KPI targets as part of day-to-day activities
- Drive continuous improvement of the quality of our products and services by collaborating with relevant functional teams
- Coordinate or facilitate quality related complaints with the appropriate facility QA Department
- Create debits and credits as required
- Assist in building customer relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You have:
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service or supply chain
- Experience working in SAP
- A background in the chemical or transportation industry
- A high school diploma

It will really wow us if: you have a bachelor's degree in a related field, are an SAP Super user, or have a certification in Six Sigma or other TQM system.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days off site.
