Qualifications
(Community Program Specialist)
Education: Bachelor's degree. Degree in social sciences, such as social work or psychology preferred. Master's degree may be required based on associated licensure.
Experience: Two (2) years community program coordination, development, oversight, or administration
Certification/Licensure: Licensure required based on need of program.
Other: Related experience to program may be substituted for education.
(Senior Community Program Specialist)
Education: Bachelor's degree. Degree in social sciences, such as social work or psychology preferred. Master's degree may be required based on associated licensure.
Experience: Three (3) years of community program coordination, development, oversight, or administration.
Certification/Licensure: Licensure required based on the need of the program.
Other: Related experience to program may be substituted for education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. The Hiring Range for the Specialist is in the mid to high $50,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
The Hiring Range for the Senior Specialist is in the mid $60,000s to low $70,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
