We are searching for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our leadership team as an Assistant Sales Manager. This differs from your average sales role as you will be making that first impression with our current or potential customers through our door-to-door marketing efforts.
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in the growth of our territory and development of our sales team. The person in this role will be responsible for facilitating in -office team meetings, field training of assigned employees, as well as maintain personal performance expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the coaching and development of the sales team
- Meeting and/or exceed personal sales targets
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the
Company’s customer base
- Support the office manager with tasks to increase office performance
- Utilize training tools for personal and career growth
- Foster a fun, innovative work environment aligned with company core values
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in door-to-door sales, preferable the energy sector
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role
- Mandatory field time with sales team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic interview skills and knowledge of staffing processes
- Proven track record of high sales performance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Income Expectation:
- Base: $52,000; OTE expected $88,000 - $104,000
- Uncapped Commission, team overrides
