Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform daily accounting tasks including processing transactions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct routine reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Monitor financial data and recommend measures for cost reduction.
- Preparing the necessary federal, state, and local tax filings ensures adherence to tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with financial auditors during audits to ensure full compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain the company’s accounting system, update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with specific financial platforms like QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Avalara is a plus.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required.
- CPA certification is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working well within a team.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
