To perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property in Wendy’s restaurants. Ensures timely and accurate completion of scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM), while providing ongoing training on equipment operation and PM training at the restaurant level. Work environment requires on call rotations, may require overtime, and may require working in extreme weather conditions.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Performs demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property as identified through work orders entered into My Techconnect.
Proactively creates and completes work orders for critical issues found during restaurant visits not entered by operations.
Performs preventative maintenance service as outlined in PM work orders.
Creates work orders for needed repairs identified during PM.
Ensures work orders are completed in the time frame identified by the priority codes assigned to the work orders by organizing and planning daily work load.
Maintains accurate parts and company owned tool inventories.
Ensures warranty process for company restaurants is followed.
Reports the condition of equipment and property as well as maintenance status to assist with capital planning.
Participates in Individual Development Planning process.
Completes required safety training to comply with company guidelines.
Stays current on industry standards.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma
Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, and plumbing
Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration
Ability to maintain/repair varied types of electrical equipment
Environment Protection Agency (EPA) HVAC/R Type 1 and Type 2 certification
Technical certification
1-3 years experience in related general maintenance/repair work or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladder up to 30 ft, and work in extreme climates. Work requires kneeling, bending, twisting, and handling of tools.

The base pay range for this position is listed below.
