Job Summary
A Parts Manager supervises the Parts Department, ensuring its profitable and efficient operation by implementing appropriate purchasing procedures, inventory control, pricing strategies, and merchandising. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional purchasing experience for customers.

Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and pursue department goals and objectives.
- Foster teamwork among all departments.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure timely parts delivery for internal jobs.
- Develop and manage an annual operating budget for the parts department.
- Stay informed and compliant with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Recruit, train, motivate, guide, and evaluate parts department staff.
- Coordinate and schedule the tasks of all parts department employees.
- Offer technical support to parts department staff.
- Establish and enforce customer interaction guidelines to enhance satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns promptly and in line with dealership policies.
- Implement a pricing strategy that balances customer loyalty, sales volume, and operational costs.
- Supervise and adjust inventory levels.
- Uphold standards of value, quality, and integrity.

- Wear provided attire or professional clothing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of Automotive Parts Department experience.
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and information.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency in profitably managing the department within dealership guidelines.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Team management, motivation, and development skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with automotive software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Goal-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
