POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for forming sheet metal parts according to work orders, drawings, quality and production schedule.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Review work order and print requirements to determine forming specifications.
· Operate the ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) Brake Press to ensure conformance with print specifications.
· Ensure proper materials accompany work orders and run production according to print specifications.
· Work under strict deadlines to ensure that all parts are completed prior to end of shift.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED; two to five years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Two to four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably related to sheet metal and machining.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Requires reading, writing and basic to intermediate math skills.
· Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
· Able to work under tight production deadlines.
· Ability to read and effectively use basic tools such as calipers and micrometers.
