American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is one of the largest wholesale distributors of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and we have been serving our customers for over 82 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team for our growing Southwest Business Region with focus on Greater Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
About the Position:
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales and margin growth within your assigned territory. Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing customers. Generate new customer business by contacting leads and following through on quotes and all customer interaction. Regularly visiting, cold calling and collaborating with customer base accounts, new leads, and new potential accounts.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and execute sales and strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects by conducting consistent check-in calls and regular follow up
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Develop and open new accounts by consistently cold calling to provide new solutions and offering product and business development support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform regular reports on sales performance and market trends
- Complete sales log and other supporting documents on prospects
- Working with VP of Sales on pricing and other important details to gain market leverage
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 5 or more years of HVAC/R industry experience
- 3 or more years of Sales or Sales Management experience
- Experience with refrigeration equipment (Russell, Larkin, Copeland or other similar brand) preferred, but not required
- Experience with box load programs preferred, but not required
Abilities and Skills:
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize and manage time well
- Ability to be self-starting
- Frequent Travel is REQUIRED
- Strong computer knowledge including MS Office
- Basic typing/10-key skills
- CRM Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
