Organization Overview:
Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. Compudopt is seeking a Warehouse and Distribution Associate. This position is critical to the success of our organizational operations, our ability to execute programs, and to serve students throughout the community. This position is responsible for supporting all warehouse and distribution functions. The schedule is flexible depending on the candidate, with some weekend and evening hours required.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, distributing, organizing, and inventory.
- Sort, label, and keep track of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Load and unload equipment and accessories.
- Prepare, package, and transport inventory to and from identified sites.
- Work with vendors to schedule recycling pick-ups and deliveries.
- Conduct quality checks on items for cleanliness and adherence to the organization's quality standards.
- Recycle and/or set aside any nonfunctional equipment and arrange for its repair.
- Ensure warehouse organization and maintenance, including general cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain vehicles (e.g., checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) to ensure safe operation of vehicles (if applicable)
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months in a distribution, warehouse, fulfillment or manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent driving record.
Preferred:
- Operate forklift or other stock management tools.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive and energetic team player who is highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more daily.
- Be able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift.
- Must be able to drive a 10-26-foot box truck.
