SUMMARY
Zapp Precision Wire is a long-time manufacturer and supplier of metallic bar, wire, strip and near net shapes used to produce surgical implants and instruments. We seek an experienced Medical Wire Market Development and Sales outside salesperson who can further our efforts to be the premier source of speciality metals for surgical and dental applications. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northeast United states.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·Develop new accounts by initiating and closing sales processes in alignment with the company's offerings, capabilities, and marketing strategies. This includes identification of market potential by qualifying accounts, contacting, and engaging decision-makers, building rapport, presenting proposals, addressing objections, creating solutions, and concluding agreements.
· Expand sales at existing accounts by devising and managing individual account strategies. Examples include improving and presenting current and new products, programs, and services as well as working with customers and prospects to develop new applications.
· Contribute to Zapp's total market strategy to meet market needs. Identify, address, and monitor competitive products, market sources, and reactions from the Zapp customer base.
·Utilize internal support teams to maximize Zapp's value to the customer through the coordination of services and the assurance of customer satisfaction. Available resources requiring regular communication include managers, the inside sales team, and technical/logistical colleagues.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Outside Sales experience of five or more years (B2B), preferably with specialty stainless steel products.
·Preferred area of focus: metals for surgical or dental applications.
·Qualified candidates have an interest in manufacturing, possess technical aptitude, and are detail oriented.
·Ability to work in alignment with established Zapp’s defined strategies and targets.
*College degree in Business or Engineering.
·Competence with Microsoft Office Suite of software. SAP experience is a plus.
· Work location: home based, preferably in the northeast United States.
*Ability to travel as needed is necessary to perform the market development and outside sale role. Up to 30% travel within the United States, Canada and Mexico may be needed.
*Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel internationally.
·Intercultural understanding and acceptance of diversity are valued within Zapp.
·Fluency in Spanish, German and / or other languages is a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
