Position Summary/ Objective:
Under the direction of the Activities Supervisor and/or Manager, the Pool Attendant will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area while welcoming guests and owners and attending to their needs. Associate will work independently or in a team under little to no supervision. This position relies on good judgment to perform the functions of the job.
Primary Essential Functions:
- All associates are obligated to support and uphold the values, expectations, policies, and procedures of Grand Pacific Resorts as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Engage with both owners and guests.
- Hand out and collect pool towels to and from guests.
- Maintain a clean pool deck.
- Ensure all pool areas are cleaned and sanitized.
- Ensure all gaming equipment is in working order.
- Responsible for the disposal of trash.
- Ensure placement of furniture on the deck.
- Responsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
Education, Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate must be a detail oriented, thorough, and professional individual who consistently provides exemplary customer service to guests, owners, management and associates.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Must be customer service focused, results driven, and have good problem solving skills.
- Must have professional communication skills when communicating with guests, owners, management and associates.
- Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
- Proficient in reading, writing, math, and computer (Microsoft Word, Excel) skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example, work style.
- Experience in the hospitality industry (time share preferred).
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
