Job Title: Customer Service I
Job Location: Minnetonka, MN, U.S.A. 55345
Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: Starts at $16.00 an hour
Shift Structure: ONSITE, between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week*
- will be working 5 hours per day
The role of the Customer Service:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide information, support, and resolve customer issues.
- Assist customers with a variety of requests, from order tracking to billing inquiries, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and professionalism.
- Process and manage orders using our systems, including order entry and follow-up.
- Work with various platforms like SAP and online vendor systems to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
- Utilize our database to access and update customer or company information as needed.
- Apply patience, tact, and problem-solving skills to assist customers, demonstrating empathy and a willingness to go the extra mile to resolve their concerns.
About the Customer Service:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer Interaction Skills: Must be adept at handling inbound and outbound calls, providing clear and helpful information, and resolving customer inquiries with professionalism and patience.
- Order Management Expertise: Experience in processing orders, including order entry, tracking, and follow-up, using platforms like SAP and online vendor systems.
- Database Proficiency: Ability to effectively utilize a database to retrieve and update customer or company information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated skill in addressing customer issues with empathy, patience, and a focus on finding solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with various operating environments (e.g., Windows, DOS, Mainframe) and complex computer applications. Basic computer skills are essential for navigating our systems efficiently.
- Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and maintaining professional interactions.
- Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours within the 7 AM – 7 PM timeframe, adapting to changing schedules as needed.
