Job Title: Harbor Hall Men’s Housing Shift Supervisor

Position Overview:
This position, as part of the Love in Action team, will support the work of the Program Manager and is the point of contact for all residents in his absence. This position will be working with men in a housing environment. The goal of this position is to develop and nurture relationships with residents and create accountability thus encouraging and equipping them to become self-sufficient and productive members of society. As a servant leader, this individual models Christ-like love, hope and grace with a passion to serve others.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Create a friendly, supportive environment for all residents.
· Monitor, encourage and hold guests accountable for the adhering to and to be on time for all events on their schedule.
· Oversee weekend chores, deep-clean on guest rooms, and ensures landscaping chores are done correctly and meet expectation.
· Assist with and facilitate meals
· Oversee medication distribution
· Document any behavioral or other program related concerns for the program manager to address later.
· Issue minor write-ups to guests when necessary.
· Conduct intake of new guests, drug testing, and supervise daily chores.
· Record any incidents that occur during your shift – illness, injury, staff absence, etc.
· Verbally transfer pertinent and necessary information during shift change.
· Perform daily room checks.
· Fill daily toiletries supply requests and deliver to guests.
· Retrieve, sort, and deliver all mail to residents and staff members.
· Maintain confidentiality and good boundaries with residents at all times.
· Uphold and carry out the policies and procedures of the Resident Manual.
· Report any possible security concerns to the program manager.
· Be a Christ-like example in attitude, conduct, and actions.
· Assist the Program Manager with other duties as assigned.
· Nurture the investment of volunteers at Harbor Hall

Qualifications:
· Professes Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and is able to provide a personal testimony of receiving Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior.
· A member in good standing with an evangelical church.
· Demonstrates a firm understanding and adheres to developmental ministry practices and is able to help without hurting.

Hours:
This is a part-time second shift position with hours of 15-20 per week Monday through Friday. Some weekend hours may be necessary. Checks are received biweekly.
Pay Rate: Pay range is $14-$16 per hour.
