The Position: We are looking for an Insurance Authorization Representative to join our team!
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
Overview:
The Insurance Authorization Representative will report to the Pre-Authorization Manager and will be responsible for working a set number of claims each day. Claim type may vary from verification to pre-authorization. Below are some key functions and skills for this opportunity:
- Meet daily production requirements.
- Ensure accounts are updated and noted as they are worked
- Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy
- Updates and maintains patient information in databases
- Tracks information and complete reports when required
- Comply with all aspects of compliance
Job Knowledge and Requirements:
- Basic computer skills including but not limited to data entry, email, and internet
- Ability to communicate telephonically
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, be detail oriented and organized
