Bar and Restaurant Manager:
Titan Hospitality is seeking for a Bar Manager who will oversee, coach and develop the service staff and manage the day to day operations of the restaurant with a primary focus on the wine and spirits program. This individual needs to be truly passionate about food, wine and spirits.
Some responsibilities will include the scheduling of employees, managing customer complaints and ensuring the bar is stocked and inviting to customers. Individual must have a strong understanding of managing the ordering of product and inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, hire and train bar staff
- Interact with customers to develop loyalty and handle customer concerns
- Contribute to creating Signature Cocktails with the Beverage Director and leadership members
- Ensure staff is following all food control and safety regulations
- Create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers
- Ensure bars are profitable by analyzing liquor costs versus sales
- Work with liquor vendors to develop new productions or promotions for the bar
- Set and maintain standards for safe alcohol and food handling, cleanliness and safety
- Order supplies, manage inventories and budgets
Bar Managers must be versed in running a bar, managing employees and ensuring the bar’s profitability. They need certain skills and experience, which include:
- Great interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to hire, train, manage and schedule staff
- Extensive knowledge of liquor, bar tending and service protocols
- Extensive knowledge of wines and wine service is recommended
- Alcohol awareness training is recommended.
- Solid organizational skills and facility with budgets, inventories and negotiating prices with vendors
- Great sales skills and talent for developing promotions or new products
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
