Scope:
- Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices
- Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees
- Champion workforce data planning
Education and Experience Required:• Four-year college degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience
- Two years Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist
- Customer Service experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff
- Demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position
- Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders on People related business objectives and polices
o Provide guidance and ensure alignment on HR practices with business strategies
o Collaborate with leadership on legal compliance on People situations
o Guide and support leaders through organizational changes
o Provide framework and tools for managing change
- Support leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees
o Use progressive discipline practices to effectively communicate expectations
o Lead People meetings
o Follow federal and state employment laws in dealing with discipline, unemployment and all other employment related issues
- Champion workforce data planning
o Partner with leaders to analyze workforce needs and trends
o Utilize systems and technology to provide data, metrics, and reports
o Collaborate with leaders on people initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
