Great Lakes Regional Branch Supervisor

As the Branch Supervisor, you will get the opportunity to own operations from pre-season planning to post-season site closure, as well as development of off-season revenue for the Great Lakes branch of First Choice Facilities. You will get to work with people from all walks of life to build dynamic and efficient field teams of Operators and Laborers. You will coordinate between field personnel and account management staff to provide our clients with over-the-top services. You will have the opportunity to step in and provide emergency services to clients on an as needed basis and travel to other branch locations when needed.
Job Objective – Own operations of First Choice Facilities’ Great Lakes Region that includes the Greater Chicago area, Milwaukee, WI and Columbus, OH, and Boston, MA from pre-season preparation to end of season shutdown, maintaining the First Choice Facilities standards and expectations of quality.
Responsibilities -
- Maintaining First Choice Facilities standard of work at client sites during severe winter weather that includes high attention to detail and ensuring safe work conditions.
- Hiring, training, and managing local workforce to fulfill client obligations pre, post, and during winter storm operations.
- Dispatching personnel using software platform, texting, and phone calls.
- Work with local vendors or self-perform preventative maintenance as well as necessary repairs as needed, including minor repairs on site if necessary.
- Own and manage product inventory levels at selected branch sites.
- Frequent communication of field conditions and job updates with account management staff.
- Help manage and perform tasks to aid off-season revenue streams.
- Own deliverables of the branches’ P&L reports
Requirements –
- Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic
- Mechanically thinking inclined and site management operations required.
- Must have strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
- OSHA 10 card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Class A CDL preferred
- Experience in the snow and ice management industry preferred
- 25-40% travel or based on job needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- High School Education or equivalent
- Physical Requirements – must be able to lift or move at least 50lbs frequently to service job-site needs. This position can require long working hours that are required to fulfill client contracts or emergency services that will encounter severe winter weather or normal outside weather conditions.
- The current position is work from home and reports to sites for winter events and field operations.
