At Kalispell OB/GYN we are strong advocates for women's health care and strive to provide the best care for women in all stages of life. Our health care team consists of 5 outstanding Providers and an excellent support staff.
We are looking to fill a full-time position! We are in need of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Emergency Medical Technician, or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant. Our office is a fast-paced, busy, supportive and enjoyable work environment.
- Assist the providers with the examination and treatment of patients and perform routine tasks required to ensure the Clinic runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
1. RN, LPN, EMT (with endorsements), or RMA/CMA
2. Minimum two years experience in similar position within a medical setting preferred.
3. Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
4. Knowledge of routine clinical laboratory methods and blood draws.
5. Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems.
Job Duties:
1. Escort patients from waiting room to appropriate exam room.
2. Record patient data prior to each physician visit including, but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and current medications.
3. Conduct patient assessments and obtain pertinent medical information for the physician.
4. Obtain all necessary patient records as required by physician including new patient records and previous test results.
5. Triage incoming patient telephone calls for referral to provider.
6. Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as required or directed by provider.
7. Assist provider with examinations and procedures.
8. Prepare and administer specified medications and injections as prescribed by the provider.
9. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of infection control procedures. Clean, package, sterilize, and maintain ample supply of sterilized instruments and supplies for procedures. Thoroughly clean exam rooms, counter, and table tops, per clinic policy. Collect, package, and accurately label all specimens immediately upon receipt; forward to designated lab(s) according to established protocols.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
