This is a full-time role within our firm in Rolling Meadows, IL and is NOT remote.
Job Description & Qualifications:
The Technical Inside Sales (Account Manager) role is vital to growing, nurturing, and supporting our client relationships. Individuals in this crucial role serve as the main point of contact Making IT Simple for our existing base of clients.
We are searching for a detail-oriented sales professional, accustomed to working in a fast-paced office environment, to join our company and serve as the primary technology consultant to our clients.
The responsibilities of the Technical Inside Sales (Account Manager) includes creating quotes, conducting VCIO reviews, renewing service and licensing agreements, providing proactive customer service, increasing your knowledge of technical products, and participating in ongoing product training. You should be able to deliver excellent customer support and be a “relationship builder”.
To be successful as a Technical Inside Sales (Account Manager), you should demonstrate great active listening skills, patience, and confidence. Outstanding candidates are client focused, self-starters with superb networking abilities, communication skills, and a good eye for upsell and cross sell opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up to date with new company products as well as industry trends.
- Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with decision makers to expand sales within our existing base of managed services accounts.
- Updating quotes, sales orders and navigating agreement renewals.
- Listening to customers’ needs and advising them on the best products to buy.
Requirements:
- 3+ years previous technology sales experience or in a technology account management role.
- Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- A professional appearance.
