Position Title: Adjunct Business Law Instructor

Position Overview:
Miami Metropolitan University is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Adjunct Business Law Instructor to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in business law, a passion for teaching, and prior experience instructing at the university level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in business law.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures on various aspects of business law, including contracts, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Create and grade assignments, exams, and other assessments.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that supports student success.
- Maintain regular office hours to provide academic support and mentorship to students.
- Stay current with developments in business law and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s/Doctorate in Business Law, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching business law at the university level.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and their application in a business context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.61 - $34.45 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
