Job Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent to our school. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that we have a talented and diverse workforce that aligns with our school's values and mission.
Position Requirements:
The duties and responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Manager include, but are not limited to:
● Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the school, including teachers, administrative staff, and other key positions.
● Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment plans to meet those needs.
● Utilize a variety of recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to attract candidates.
● Implement strategies to recruit and retain employees who will help support the school’s mission for diversity, equity and inclusion.
● Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
● Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
● Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, search agencies and other sources of talent.
● Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
● Utilizes data analytics to provide recruitment and interview process guidance and screening tools to various constituents of the hiring process.
● Regularly researches and identifies new sources for active recruiting.
● Identifies opportunities to capture passive applicants. Regularly sources for top talent and actively engages with passive applicants to build talent pipelines for current and future openings.
● Curiosity about the particular experience and skills required of adults who will work with adolescents in a boarding environment and the ability to screen carefully for those.
● Develops systems to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and practices created to identify, recruit, onboard, and retain employees and adjust based on feedback.
Minimum Desired Qualifications:
● Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet is required in all aspects of normal daily activities.
● Experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
● Position requires excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to work in a diverse environment.
● Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and trends.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Excellent organization and time management skills to manage competing priorities.
● Ability to work efficiently and effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
● At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the education sector.
● Bachelor's degree preferred.
