Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation
- Create and develop innovative and high-quality menu items
- Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and availability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other culinary professionals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Note: Bartending experience is not relevant to the role of an Executive Chef.
