Job Summary:
Supervises production employees and is responsible for the maintenance of good employee relations together with discipline, safety, and general supervision; trains employees in work methods and procedure. Position is accountable for specified quantity and quality of product. Verifies conformance to part specifications and adjustment of machines. May also indirectly supervise employees in other departments depending on shift.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Supervise operations of the facility with an aim for high performance.
· Drive the training process of all production employees on assigned shift.
· Carry out employee performance reviews or disciplinary actions according to company policy.
· Ensure team is adhering to safety policies, continuously pushing safety as a top priority.
· Monitoring daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies, and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary assisting in all aspects on the production floor.
· Accurate daily and weekly tracking of employee attendance and timecard management.
· Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
· Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
· Maintaining communication between employees and management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
· Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources, to ensure accurate inventory.
· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must have the ability to work a varying shift pattern.
· Basic PC Skills (MS Word, MS Excel)
· Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably PLEX
· Ability to effectively communicate with others.
· Ability to identify root cause and solve problem.
· Ability to handle conflicts between employees.
· Contribute to continuous improvement.
· Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Demonstrated good housekeeping practices and 5S principles.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
· Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.
Supervisory Responsibilities: CNC Operators and Technicians, with indirect supervision to other employees depending on assigned shift.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree and 3 – 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred; OR:
· Two-years of college or associate degree completed with at least 4-6 years of progressively responsible manufacturing related experience, OR;
· High School diploma with at least 6 years of progressively responsible manufacturing related experience
Work Environment:
Will work in both office and manufacturing floor environment. When on manufacturing floor will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, occasionally exposed to wet conditions, fumes, vibrations and loud noise and exposure to seasonally hot and humid environment.
Physical Requirements: Carrying, pushing, or pulling of heavy objects (30 pounds or more) is regularly necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt with scheduled on-site hours Monday through Friday. Additional hours may occur during the work week or weekends and will be based on department needs.
