LAASER is a state-of-the-art facility located in Glassell Park, CA. We are looking for a veterinary receptionist/doctor's assistant float to join our team whose responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones in a calm, cheerful, professional manner
- Maintaining accurate records and note-taking
- Scheduling appointments
- Inter-hospital communication
- Communication with clients
- Create and present estimates to clients
- Help maintain the flow of the doctor's schedules/appointments
- Fill prescriptions to go home with clients
- Send and receive phone calls and emails
- Manage daily tasks (lab & radiology report, call backs/updates for your assigned doctor's cases, enter charges, obtaining records, etc.)
- Ensure patients are clean and comfortable
- Clean and maintain the overall treatment floor and hospital
- Work in a very high volume, fast paced environment
- Multitask and prioritize cases and daily duties
- Maintain excellent time management skills
- Communicate and collaborate in a cohesive team environment
- Utilize EzyVet Software
This role helps supports the technicians, veterinarians and clients in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on many aspects of pet health and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.
Requirements: We are looking for a candidate that excels at going above and beyond in creating a positive experience for our clients and patients. We will train for an outgoing individual that does not have direct veterinary experience. Veterinary experience is an added bonus.
