Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications be at least 18 years old; hold a Class B CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements; obtain through DPS office. pass an annual mental and physical exam required by Texas DPS; obtain through employer or DOT certified doctor.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses or motor coaches following set routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior
- Communicate effectively with passengers and address any inquiries or concerns
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver or delivery driver preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with passengers
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Familiarity with motor coach operations is a plus
- Experience in paratransit services is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills
