Social Services Director

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Services Director to join our team. This role is crucial in enhancing our residents' quality of life and ensuring their holistic well-being.
Job Summary:
The Social Services Director will oversee the development and implementation of social service programs tailored to meet the needs of our residents. The role involves managing a team of social workers and liaising with other department heads to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the social services department, setting goals and evaluating outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and revise social service policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to social workers, ensuring high standards of care.
- Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to integrate social services with overall resident care.
- Address and resolve any issues related to resident care or family concerns.
- Manage departmental budget and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and train staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of improving service delivery and resident satisfaction.
