About the job:
Operate, maintain, and repair all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for for residential and commercial equipment.. This individual supports the business by traveling to customers and helping create solutions for their needs. You will partner with the business to diagnose issues and repairs. In addition to supporting company efforts to ensure we are effectively communicating with our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential and commercial customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed in this description.
- Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer.
- Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting vehicle inspection forms.
- EXTREME customer service skills, Ability to interact with homeowners, collect money, and relay information clearly.
- Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration experience is a plus
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment on the vehicle.
- Educate homeowner on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services)
- May perform other job duties as directed by team members’ leaders.
- Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
- Active (Valid) Driver’s License. (3 yrs of clean driving history) required.
- Candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Skills:
- Positive-forward thinking and excellent in conflict resolution.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years* of HVAC residential service experience (required).*
- A current EPA certification or willingness to obtain (required).
- Excellent organization, communication, and prioritization skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to go with the flow and adhere to company processes
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching,
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 75 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
